Facials
Facials and masks make you take time. You can't rush and you
should be doing a hundred other things multi-tasking. Lay down and
relax, and enjoy what nature can do for tired, troubled, dry, oily or
overexposed skin.
Toners
A toner is used to help remove any residual cleanser and to clarify.
When creating your own toners you should use them immediately, keep them
refrigerated and always use a clean cotton pad or ball with each use.
Rose Water & Glycerin Witch Hazel Toner
Hair Care
When you are use to commercial shampoos with foaming agents, handmade
shampoo bars can feel strange. It's due to the high glycerin
content remaining in the soap. Not a bad thing mind you, as it
helps with dry scalp, but you don't want your hair to feel greasy or
heavy afterwards either. What to do? Use an herbal rinse,
and below are some of our favorites;
Hops & Apple Cider Rinse
Hand & Feet
You've paid attention to everything above the neck at this point -
good for you! Now let's take care of those hard working hands and
feet. The result will be well hydrated, smooth skin on the
roughest parts of you.
Bath Soaks
Not everyone is a tub person, but if you want to truly enjoy
therapeutic spa benefits you it's best soak. Pores absorb minerals
while in the water, the skin gets needed hydration and you have to
relax....it's all a plus!
Body Scrubs
Buffing skin and revealing younger, fresher appearing skin is the
point of using scrubs. Whether you prefer the dry grain mix or an
oil based sugar scrub, skin will feel fantastic right away. For
maximum spa treatment, do it respectively. Buff the skin with a
scrub, rinse, soak some more, then buff again especial if it's been a
while since you done this. |
