Owner's Bio -
Debra Hendron The driving force behind Botanical Earth,
which manufactures natural botanical body care products for an
international market base, Debra is a third generation professional soap
maker who learned the art in her grandmother's herbal business in the
mid 1970's. Making her first batch of herbal soap at age eight, Debra
recreates historic and vintage recipes, develops recipes from client
suggestions, and custom-designs new recipes. Botanical Earth's customers
include both individuals and private label resellers in the U.S. and
abroad.
Debra's love of the earth is profound. She has a
BS in Hydrogeology and has studied under several master herbalists,
including Debra Nussi and world renown
Hannah Kroeger. Debra spent five of her teenage years in Saudi
Arabia where she grew to love Middle Eastern spices and exotic scents.
As a values-driven entrepreneur, Debra utilizes
only the freshest natural organics and as many Fair Trade Suppliers as
possible. "I believe in a 'you should try to leave a place better than
when you found it' sort of philosophy. What I want people to feel about
Botanical Earth is that we are fair and easy going. Most importantly, I
want the people at the receiving end to realize they are appreciated."
Debra
loves to pass along the secrets of her success. Her newest venture, due
to launch later in 2007, is called MoHerbs, in which she will share her
lifelong knowledge of growing organic botanicals. MoHerbs will also
feature classes such as "Starting an Herbal Product Business
101"--because Debra's larger goal is to help "entire families work
together for their own futures." Other successful body care businesses
currently managed by Hendron are MoSoap and Naturally Wicked.
